The Opportunity
 

As we continue to grow and scale our product offerings, STELLA is seeking an experienced Chief Software Architect to join our team. This key leadership role will be responsible for defining the architecture and technical direction of our AI platform, overseeing the development of scalable and high-performance systems, and leading a team of talented engineers.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Architect and Lead Development: Design and implement the overall software architecture for our voice-driven AI platform. Ensure that the architecture is scalable, robust, and flexible to accommodate future growth and technology advancements.

     

  • Leadership and Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment. Work closely with product management, data science, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

     

  • AI and Voice Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and text-to-speech (TTS) platforms into our AI platform, ensuring seamless user experiences and high performance.

     

  • Technology Strategy: Stay at the forefront of AI, machine learning, and voice-driven technologies. Define technical strategies and best practices that align with STELLA’s mission and product roadmap.

     

  • Code Quality & Performance: Set standards for software quality, code reviews, performance tuning, and maintainability. Ensure the team delivers high-quality, efficient code and adheres to best practices in software engineering.

     

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with the business, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure our platform meets market needs and customer expectations, contributing to a customer-centric development approach.


Chief Software Architect

Requirements
 

  • Experience: 10+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architectural role, building and scaling complex software platforms. Need experience building and operating production quality cloud native applications

  • Proficiency in Key Technologies: Deep expertise in Python and C# with a strong background in building distributed systems and software architecture.

     

  • AI & NLP Expertise: Proven experience working with large language models (LLMs) and language processing technologies.

     

  • Voice Technologies: Familiarity with TTS platforms and voice-driven AI systems is highly desirable.

     

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to create innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

     

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

     

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Contributions to open-source projects or AI research is a plus.
